National Respect Life T-shirt Day: April 22, 2016
Your chance to bear witness to life in solidarity with others is coming on April 22! Do you have a respectful t-shirt that promotes life? If not, there are many places to get one, here is just one shopping site. A small handful of respect life t-shirts will be available at Sunday coffee hour for sale, $10 each until they are gone.

Things to remember on Respect Life T-shirt Day:
  • Wear a smile, not a scowl.
  • Carry a joyful message, not one of condemnation.
  • Remember that this is not about you, and it’s not about “winning.” You can only bear witness; God alone can change hearts.
  • Don’t descend into politics. Respect for life transcends politics. You can recommend Laudato Si and not just Humanae Vitae!
  • Carry a big dose of humility – you do not know another person’s experience.
  • Respect Life T-shirt Day is about sharing a message of mercy (Year of Mercy), hope, respect for all creation – especially in this case – human life, and support for those who are in need.  It is not about arguing over your t-shirt.
  • Pray, and don’t forget to mention Project Rachel.

How can we be PRO-life every day?

reaching out in kindness and compassion,
