Story for Sunday

Happy Sunday!  Don't forget that this Thursday, August 15 is the great Feast of Mary's Assumption into Heaven!  This is a Holy Day of Obligation -- Let's call to mind God's abundant kindness to humanity, and Mary's generous response to the Lord.  May we pray for Mary's help and courage, also giving the Lord permission in every area of our own lives, so that He may work through us.

Here is an uplifting story to start off this week, about an amazing occurrence.  Granted, this event has not been scrutinized or validated by the Church as miraculous, but it is a great reminder that God continues to work in our lives everyday... either through our guardian angels or through His faithful servants here on earth.  Let's say "yes" to Him as well as this priest did.  Happy Sunday!
