Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day everyone! On this day which we celebrate our "independence," let's not forget the dependence we have on God: No person is self-made.  Every blessing and opportunity comes from the Lord alone. Let's return these gifts to Him as fruitful works in our lives. Let's pray for guidance, how to best do this in our personal lives and our communities.  And let's be truly thankful for the gifts we have from the Lord, because no person is self-made.
